Terms and Conditions

🐾 Pawlished Groomers — Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: January 26th 2025

Welcome to Pawlished Groomers — where elevated grooming meets intentional care. By booking an appointment, you (“Client”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a seamless, safe, and exceptional experience for both you and your pet.


✂️ 1. Appointments & Punctuality

All services are by appointment only.

Clients are expected to arrive on time. A grace period of 10–15 minutes may be permitted at our discretion; however, late arrivals may result in:

  • Modification of services
     
  • Rescheduling of the appointment
     
  • A late fee
     

Appointments delayed beyond a reasonable timeframe may be cancelled and treated as a no-show.

We run on a curated schedule — not a queue.



💳 2. Pricing, Deposits & Payments

All prices are subject to variation based on:

  • Coat condition
     
  • Size and temperament of the pet
     
  • Time required to safely complete the groom
     

A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your booking. This deposit will be applied to your final total.

Full payment is due upon completion of services.
Failure to settle payment may result in refusal of future services and/or additional recovery actions.



❌ 3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Late cancellations: subject to a fee
     
  • No-shows: charged up to 100% of the service cost
     
  • Repeated missed appointments may result in booking restrictions or permanent refusal of service
     

Your time is valuable — and so is ours.



🐶 4. Pet Health & Disclosure

Clients must disclose all relevant information regarding their pet, including:

  • Medical conditions
     
  • Injuries or sensitivities
     
  • Behavioral tendencies (anxiety, aggression, etc.)
     

Pawlished Groomers reserves the right to refuse service if a pet’s condition presents a risk to itself or others.

In the event of a medical emergency, we will seek veterinary care at the owner’s expense.



⚠️ 5. Behavior & Safety Policy

We prioritize a low-stress, safety-first grooming environment.

Pets displaying aggression, extreme anxiety, or unsafe behavior may:

  • Incur additional handling fees
     
  • Have services modified or discontinued
     
  • Be refused future appointments
     

No grooming service will be completed at the expense of a pet’s well-being.



🧼 6. Matting Policy

Severely matted coats pose a serious risk to your pet’s health.

By booking with Pawlished Groomers, you acknowledge:

  • Matted coats may require complete shaving
     
  • De-matting is not performed if it causes pain, distress, or harm
     
  • Additional fees will apply for excessive matting
     

Pawlished Groomers is not liable for after-effects of mat removal, including but not limited to:

  • Skin irritation
     
  • Minor nicks or abrasions
     
  • Behavioral changes
     

Comfort over vanity — always.



🦠 7. Flea & Parasite Policy

For the safety of all pets in our care:

  • Pets found with fleas or ticks will receive mandatory treatment
     
  • Additional sanitation and treatment fees will apply
     
  • Severe infestations may result in service refusal
     


📸 8. Media & Brand Use

Pawlished Groomers may photograph or record pets for:

  • Social media
     
  • Marketing campaigns
     
  • Brand content
     

By using our services, you grant permission for such use.
If you prefer privacy, written notice must be provided prior to your appointment.


⏳ 9. Abandonment Policy

Pets must be collected promptly at the agreed pickup time.

Pets left beyond a reasonable timeframe without communication may:

  • Incur boarding/holding fees
     
  • Be considered abandoned in extreme cases
     

⚖️ 10. Liability Disclaimer

While every precaution is taken, grooming is an inherently hands-on service.

By booking, you acknowledge:

  • Pre-existing conditions may be exposed during grooming
     
  • Minor grooming-related incidents (e.g., small nicks) may occur despite best practices
     

Pawlished Groomers shall not be held liable for:

  • Undisclosed health conditions
     
  • Reactions to grooming products
     
  • Natural or unavoidable grooming sensitivities
     



💅 11. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our work.

If you are not satisfied, you must notify us within 24 hours of your appointment. Reasonable adjustments will be made at our discretion.

Refunds are not guaranteed but may be considered on a case-by-case basis.




🚫 12. Right to Refuse Service

Pawlished Groomers reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time if:

  • Terms are violated
     
  • A pet’s behavior compromises safety
     
  • A client demonstrates disrespectful or inappropriate conduct
     

Luxury service is a two-way experience.



🔄 13. Policy Updates

These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
